How to Report Incorrect Contact Information
Last updated: April 23, 2026
Where does Unify's contact data come from?
Unify use a waterfall of data providers to find phone numbers and emails for your contacts. While we strive for accuracy, contact information can sometimes be outdated.
Which data am I seeing: CRM or Unify?
By default, Unify prioritizes your CRM data. This means if contact information exists in your CRM, that's what you'll see.
Unify data takes priority in two situations:

How to report incorrect data
If you're using either of the features above and notice outdated or incorrect information:
Verify the contact has synced from Salesforce
If you're expecting to see a contact that was recently created or updated in Salesforce, note that Unify syncs from Salesforce approximately every 15‑30 minutes. Additionally, Salesforce contacts must have a valid email address to sync to Unify—contacts without an email will not appear. If a contact is missing or showing outdated information, confirm it has been at least 30 minutes since the Salesforce update and that the contact record includes a valid email address before reporting incorrect data.
First, check for duplicate or deleted linked records
Before reporting incorrect data, open the contact's profile in Unify and check the Linked Records tab. If you see multiple Salesforce contacts linked to the same Unify profile, or if a linked record has been deleted from Salesforce, this can cause Unify to display outdated enriched data. To resolve:
Merge or delete duplicate contacts in Salesforce to ensure only one contact is linked
Wait 15-30 minutes for the next sync to complete
If the issue persists after resolving duplicates, proceed to report the incorrect data below
Report it in your designated channel
Include:
Contact name and company
The incorrect information you're seeing
What the correct information should be (if known)
We share all reports with our data providers to help improve overall data quality.
