Website tag on subdomain

Does the website automatically track visits to subdomains of my website?

We do not automatically track page views on subdomains of your website. You will need to explicitly add the website tag to those pages in order for us to track visits there.

If I add the tag there, how do I differentiate views to my subdomain vs. my primary domain?

Please reach out to our support team and we can get those subdomains added for you in the filter options. Once those are added, you would be able to select the domain in a dropdown option in the web intent filter view.

My company has a website application that is a subdomain - would it also track visitors there?

To track visitors to your website application, we recommend setting up the Unify intent client (instructions here). Once the intent client is implemented, Unify would be able to identify when a user logs into your web application with their email address. Once that user has provided their email through the login, we would now be able to de-anonymize their visits on both the marketing and web app site pages.
