How to exclude specific webpages from intent signal tracking

Last updated: December 5, 2024

Unify allows you to control which webpages are used as intent signals for your marketing efforts. If you want to exclude certain pages from being tracked, you can do so by selectively implementing the Unify web tag.

Steps to exclude pages from tracking:

  1. Identify the pages you want to track and those you want to exclude.

  2. Remove the Unify web tag from all pages on your website if this was the initial setup.

  3. Selectively add the Unify web tag only to the pages you want to track.

  4. We will no longer track net new visitors on the pages you removed and will only incur Unify Intent credits on tracking visitors to pages with the tag.

These instructions are relevant if you want to selectively track website visitors on certain pages - this means we will not use any credits to track visitors on pages where the tag is not added. If you decide to keep the website tag configured on all your pages, you can still track page visits separately by using the audience filter on specific page values.
