Understanding credit limits and annual allocations in Unify

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Unify operates on an annual credit allocation system, not a monthly reset schedule. Understanding how credits are consumed across different features will help you manage your annual budget effectively.

Credit Allocation Schedule

Your credit allocation is distributed annually, meaning your credits do not reset monthly. Plan your usage throughout the year to ensure you have sufficient credits for your prospecting and enrichment activities.

Credit Consumption by Feature

Different features in Unify consume credits at varying rates:

Standard Contact Enrichment

Basic data enrichment consumes 2 credits per enriched contact. This includes standard contact information like email addresses, phone numbers, and basic company data.

AI Research Agent

The AI research agent feature consumes credits separately from standard enrichment and can use significantly more credits depending on your setup. For example, a broad play setup might consume approximately 4,000 credits in addition to the standard enrichment costs.

Managing Your Annual Credit Budget

When planning your credit usage:

  • Factor in both standard enrichment costs (2 credits per contact) and AI research agent usage

  • Monitor your credit consumption regularly throughout the year

  • Consider the scope of your AI research agent plays, as broader setups consume more credits

  • Plan your prospecting activities to distribute credit usage evenly across the annual period

What Happens When Credits Are Depleted

When you reach your annual credit limit, enrichment and AI research features will be temporarily unavailable until your credits are renewed or additional credits are purchased. Your account will not be deactivated, but credit-dependent features will be paused.

If you find yourself approaching your credit limit before your annual renewal, contact our support team to discuss options for additional credit allocation.
