This guide walks you through setting up effective job change monitoring with persona-based filtering and Slack notifications.
Creating New Hire Audiences
To track new hires at specific target companies:
Navigate to your Unify dashboard and access the New Hire Tracking section
Create a new audience by selecting your target companies
Apply persona-based filtering to focus on relevant job roles and seniority levels that match your ideal customer profile
Save your audience configuration
This targeted approach ensures you only receive alerts for prospects that align with your sales strategy, improving the quality and relevance of your job change notifications.
Enabling Slack Notifications
To receive real-time alerts when new hires join your target organizations:
In your New Hire Tracking settings, enable Slack alerts for your created audiences
Configure the Slack channel where you want to receive notifications
Set up notification preferences, including frequency and detail level
Once configured, you'll receive immediate Slack notifications whenever someone matching your criteria joins one of your target companies, allowing for timely outreach.
Champion Tracking Alerts
In addition to new hire tracking, you can also set up Champion Tracking alerts to monitor when your existing contacts change positions. These alerts can also be sent directly to Slack, ensuring you stay informed about important relationship changes at your accounts.
