Understanding email warmup status display issues

Last updated: March 2, 2026

When using Unify's email warming service, you may notice that the warming status in your dashboard appears blank or inaccurate, even when your mailboxes are actively being warmed. This is normal behavior and does not indicate a problem with your warming process.

Common status display issues

The warming status display may show the following behaviors:

  • Completely blank status - The status column remains empty throughout and after the 3-week warming period

  • Partial status updates - Only some mailboxes show as "warmed" when all connected mailboxes are actually properly warmed and ready

  • No completion indicator - The UI doesn't display a "warmed" status even after mailboxes have finished the warming process

Why this happens

These display discrepancies occur because some email providers don't allow Unify to update the "Warmed" column in the interface. This is a limitation of certain warming service configurations, not a system error.

Important: The warming functionality operates independently of the status display. Your mailboxes continue to be warmed according to schedule regardless of what appears in the UI.

What you should do

If you're experiencing status display issues:

  1. Don't worry - Your mailboxes are likely being warmed correctly despite the blank or inaccurate status

  2. Wait for the full warming period - Allow the standard 3-week warming process to complete

  3. Contact support for verification - If you need confirmation of your actual warming status or are planning to launch campaigns, reach out to our support team to verify your mailboxes' true warming state

Remember that these display limitations are expected behavior for specific warming configurations and don't affect the actual warming process or your email deliverability.
