How to integrate Unify with third-party tools and import data

Last updated: May 5, 2026

Unify currently offers several methods for importing data and integrating with external tools, though direct API access is not yet available. Here are the current options for connecting Unify with your tech stack.

Available Integration Methods

Native Product Signal Integrations

Unify natively integrates with the following product analytics platforms:

  • PostHog - Direct integration for product usage signals

  • Segment - Direct integration for product usage signals

API Integration

For product analytics tools beyond PostHog and Segment, you can use the Unify API to bring data into Unify from other sources, including data warehouses like Databricks where product usage data is stored.

CSV Upload

CSV upload is the primary method for importing data from third-party tools and intent data providers. This approach is recommended for:

  • Weekly imports from external sources like intent data providers

  • Users who prefer not to route data through CRM systems first

  • Maintaining direct control over data synchronization

HubSpot Integration

For users who want more automated processing, Unify offers HubSpot integration using contact fields. This method provides:

  • Automated data flow from HubSpot to Unify

  • Contact field stamping capabilities

  • Reduced manual data handling

Current Limitations

While we're working to expand integration capabilities, please note these current limitations:

  • API integration is available for product analytics data from sources like data warehouses (e.g., Databricks)

  • API integration is available for product analytics data from sources like data warehouses (e.g., Databricks)

  • Direct webhook integration is not currently supported

  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) connections are not currently supported

  • Direct integrations with tools like MakeAI, Attio CRM, and Mutiny are not available

Recommended Approach for Regular Data Imports

For consistent data imports from third-party intent data providers or other external tools, we recommend setting up a weekly CSV upload process. This approach offers:

  • Reliable data synchronization

  • Direct control over import timing and data quality

  • No dependency on intermediate CRM systems

  • Consistent workflow for data management

We'll update our documentation and notify users when API access becomes available.

Getting Started

To begin importing data from your third-party tools:

  1. Export your data from the external platform in CSV format

  2. Ensure your CSV includes all required fields for Unify

  3. Upload the CSV file through Unify's import feature

  4. Set up a regular schedule (weekly recommended) for ongoing imports
