How to add users to your Unify account

Last updated: March 23, 2026

Adding users to your Unify account requires admin permissions and involves sending invitations to new team members. Here's how the process works:

Adding New Users

To add a new user to your Unify account:

  1. Contact your Unify support team or account manager

  2. Provide the email address of the person you want to invite

  3. The Unify team will send an invitation to that email address

  4. The invited user will receive an email with login instructions

User Permissions and Roles

Unify currently has two main user roles:

  • Admin: Full access to all platform features, including user management, billing, and settings

  • Rep: Limited access focused on day-to-day sales activities

Note that for users to respond on behalf of other team members or access certain advanced features, they need admin permissions.

Pricing and Seat Management

Each user seat costs $100 per month with annual pricing. There is currently no view-only option available. If you need temporary access for contractors or short-term users, contact your account manager who may be able to provide temporary seats.

SSO Considerations

If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), all users must authenticate through your Identity Provider (IdP). For security reasons, username-password login is disabled when SSO is enforced, which means contractors or external users without SSO access cannot be added to your instance.

Account Sharing

While not ideal for security and audit purposes, multiple team members can share a single login if needed to avoid additional seat costs. However, this limits individual user tracking and permissions management.

Troubleshooting Access Issues

If a user is having trouble accessing their account after being invited:

  • Check that the invitation was sent to the correct email address

  • Ask your account manager to resend the invitation

  • Verify that your account is active and not experiencing any billing-related access issues

If you continue to experience issues with user access, contact your Unify support team for assistance.
