Unify Dialer: Call Recording & Compliance

Last updated: July 13, 2026

How call recording and transcription work with the Unify Dialer.

You are responsible for your own compliance

It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of call recording and dialing complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you and to the people you call, including any consent or notification requirements. Unify does not provide legal advice. If you are unsure of your obligations, consult your legal team before recording calls.

Managing recording settings

Call recording is controlled by your team's recording settings. Admins can turn recording on or off in Settings → Dialer.

Transcription

Calls are transcribed based on your recording settings.

Calling hours

Calls placed outside 8am–9pm in the prospect's local time show an after-hours indicator on the prospect card, so you can decide whether to proceed.

Call frequency

Unify warns you before a third call to the same person in one day and soft-blocks additional calls beyond that.

Where recordings and transcripts go

When recording is on, the recording and transcript attach to the call activity and sync back to Salesforce or HubSpot along with the call outcome — no manual logging required.

Number reputation

Your numbers build trust automatically. New numbers start with a baseline reputation and ramp up over the first 1–2 weeks of use, so connect rates improve as they warm up.
