Connecting Salesforce Sandbox
Last updated: November 20, 2024
You can connect Unify to a Salesforce sandbox environment for testing and development purposes. This allows you to try out new configurations and integrations without impacting your production Salesforce instance.
Does Unify support connecting a Salesforce sandbox instance?
Yes, we do! If you reach out to your customer success manager, we can initiate the process to get this set up. We will create a separate Unify login to connect your Sandbox instance.
Setting up Salesforce Sandbox
Provide the names and email addresses of the users who need access.
The support team will create a new Unify login for you, typically named with the suffix "(Sandbox)".
You will receive an email invitation to join this new Unify instance.
Log in to the sandbox Unify instance using the provided credentials.
In the Unify settings, connect to your Salesforce sandbox instance instead of your production instance.
With the sandbox Unify instance connected to your Salesforce sandbox, you can safely test and experiment with new configurations and integrations without affecting your live production data. Note that changes made in the sandbox environment will not be reflected in your production Unify instance or Salesforce org.
