Send limits for primary and secondary mailboxes
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Mailbox send limits depend on whether the mailbox is a primary mailbox you connect or a secondary mailbox Unify creates and manages.
Primary mailboxes
Primary mailboxes are connected by you.
You can set the daily send limit from 1 to 150 sends per day.
Unify recommends conservative limits, often around 25 sends per day, to protect deliverability.
You have more flexibility because you manage these mailboxes directly.
Secondary mailboxes
Secondary mailboxes are created and managed by Unify.
Secondary mailboxes are capped at 25 sends per day.
This limit helps reduce flags, challenges, and deliverability issues.
Recommendation
For the best deliverability, keep send volume conservative and distribute sends across healthy mailboxes instead of pushing one mailbox to its maximum.
