Why top-of-queue emails are not sending immediately
Last updated: October 6, 2026
If you moved enrollments to the top of the queue but they still are not sending right away, the most common reason is that the mailbox has already hit its daily send limit.
Check Email Backlog
Go to Insights.
Open Email Backlog.
Review Mailboxes with High Email Volume.
If the mailbox appears there, it is likely fully consumed for the day.
What to do next
Use an alternate mailbox that is not at capacity.
Route priority sequence sends through mailboxes with available send volume.
If needed, go to Sequences → Emails, choose Use only, and filter for the mailboxes used by that sequence.
If those mailboxes have already sent more than their daily limit, switch to other available mailboxes.
Notes
Moving enrollments to the top of queue prioritizes them, but it does not bypass mailbox limits.
Secondary mailboxes are typically capped at 25 sends per day.
