Prioritize Sequence Emails

Last updated: September 11, 2026

When a mailbox has a high volume of sequence emails scheduled to send, its send queue can become backed up. Email prioritization lets you move an important email enrollment to the front of the queue so time-sensitive outreach isn't delayed.

How email prioritization works

You can prioritize an individual email enrollment from a sequence. Once prioritized, that email moves to the front of the mailbox's send queue. This is especially useful when a rep has an important or time-sensitive email that needs to go out before other emails already waiting to send.

Why use email prioritization?

Previously, there wasn't an easy way to move a specific sequence email ahead of a backed-up queue. Reps had to use workarounds like:

  • Reassigning mailboxes

  • Pausing other sequences

  • Sending the email manually outside of the sequence

With email prioritization, reps can keep the email within the sequence while controlling which outreach gets sent first.

Bulk prioritization

You can now prioritize multiple sequence enrollments at once from the Enrollments page.

To bulk prioritize sequence emails:

  1. Go to Sequences.

  2. Select the relevant enrollments.

  3. Open Select bulk action....

  4. Select Move to top of queue.

The selected enrollments will be moved to the front of the queue.

Coming soon

We're continuing to expand prioritization controls, including:

  • Send immediately: Send an email immediately rather than simply moving it to the front of the queue.

  • Sequence-level priority: Longer term, set priority at the sequence or individual sequence-step level.
