Setting up domain forwarding

Last updated: February 19, 2026

Unify doesn't manage your domain directly. However, you have given Unify permission to send emails from your domain. Domain management, including forwarding, is typically handled through your domain provider.

If you're using Unify for your email campaigns, you may want to set up domain forwarding to ensure that users who visit your Unify email domain (e.g., tryunifygtm.com) are redirected to your main website (e.g., unifygtm.com) This article explains how to set up domain forwarding and addresses some common questions about email deliverability.

Setting Up Domain Forwarding

Domain forwarding is typically managed through your domain provider, not through Unify. Here's how to set it up:

  1. Log in to your domain provider's control panel.

  2. Look for a section called "Domain Forwarding" or "URL Forwarding".

  3. Enter your Unify email domain (e.g., tryunifygtm.com) as the domain to forward.

  4. Enter your main website URL (e.g., unifygtm.com) as the destination.

  5. If available, select options for:

    • Permanent redirect (301 redirect)

    • SSL/HTTPS forwarding

  6. Save your settings.
