How are added users and credit purchases billed?

Added seats and additional credits are billed on different schedules.

Adding users (seats)

Seats are prorated by the day. When you add a user, you're charged a prorated amount from the day the seat is added through your next scheduled billing date, then the standard per-seat rate on each invoice after that.

Purchasing credits

Additional credits bought in the app are not billed immediately, and they are not prorated by the day. Instead, the cost is spread across the billing installments remaining in your current contract term. If only one installment remains when you purchase, the full amount is applied to that final invoice.

Example: on a quarterly billing schedule, if you buy credits shortly after a quarterly invoice has already been issued, the charge is applied to your next quarterly invoice rather than being billed right away.

We are not able to adjust payment/billing cadence beyond what's in your contract, as this is automated through Unify to our billing system.
