Understanding and Managing Email Warming Spam

Last updated: March 26, 2025

When using Unify's email warming service, you may occasionally receive warming-related emails in your inbox. Here's what you need to know about these emails and how to manage them.

What are warming emails?

Warming emails are part of Unify's automated process to build email reputation for your mailboxes. These emails typically contain:

  • A unique identifier code (like 'A6133FE' or 'wuI') in the subject line

  • Content that may appear promotional or spam-like

  • Messages from other mailboxes in the warming network

How to Filter Out Warming Emails

Under normal circumstances, Unify automatically filters these emails so they don't reach your inbox. However, if you start receiving warming emails, you can:

  1. Create an email filter for messages containing 'A6133FE' or 'wuI' in the subject line

  2. Mark the emails as spam to help your email provider automatically filter future warming messages

If you suddenly start receiving large volumes of warming emails, please contact Unify support as this may indicate an issue with the filtering system that needs to be addressed.

Important Notes

  • Warming emails are only sent to other mailboxes within the warming network

  • These emails do not affect your actual business communications

  • The warming process continues to work even when emails are filtered
